Apply Schengen visa for Somali passport
Hi everyone,
I’m a Somali PhD student currently studying in Malaysia, and I’m planning a 2-week trip to Europe for tourism.
Right now I’m considering:
Spain
Italy
France
Netherlands
I wanted to ask which country is generally better/easier for Schengen visa applications when applying from Malaysia, especially for someone with a Somali passport.
I’ve previously traveled to:
Thailand
Singapore
Saudi Arabia
and I’ll be applying from Malaysia with my student status here.
Has anyone had experience applying for a Schengen visa from Malaysia as an international student? Which embassy was smoother or more reasonable with documents?
Also, what are the important things I should pay attention to before applying? Any tips that could improve approval chances would really help.
