Looking for payroll software that is simple to use

I have tested a few payroll platforms recently and some of them feel way too enterprise focused for what we need We are not a huge company and I do not want payroll turning into another complicated system everyone has to learn. I mostly care about getting set up quickly keeping things predictable and not having to watch over payroll every week What are smaller teams using right now?

How important is simple setup when choosing payroll [N/A]

I am in the process of evaluating new payroll options and one thing I keep thinking about is setup. Some of these systems look powerful but also feel like they would take forever to get running
I do not have a super technical team so I need something that can be set up without a long learning curve but at the same time I do not want to sacrifice reliability for simplicity

For those who have gone through this did simple setup end up mattering and how did you figure it out?
