Is it normal to be strong-armed into passing students?
Brand new School social worker here. I just found out that many of our teachers are pressured/forced to pass students who clearly do not deserve to be passed. Is this a normal practice? If so, why? What is admin so afraid of? It makes me feel very unsettled- it feels very unethical.
