I am a bricklayers labourer, boss ripped me of $2400 and 3 other people $3000, he claimed to pay us our full amount of money owed multiple times and even sent a email stating how much everyone is owed, not once in the four weeks we were waiting for our money did he say he will deduct money from us, on the day of paying us he sent an email stating how much they are going to deduct from us and the reason being was due to the mistakes of the bricklayers work he had lost $60k not paid by the builder, and claimed one single dirty cavity and wrong colour of mud for one wall was the reason for which I was not paid, I work ABN even though my job is meant to be an employees position. I am currently disputing the matter with FWO, however if FWO is not able to resolve the situation what are my options ?, any advice would be appreciated, thank you for your time.
