Very loud bang, fire and LOTS of black smoke coming out of a goddamn manhole cover. Couldn't get a photo.

This happened Friday afternoon. I'm told it's shared on local FB groups, but I don't have FB and I hadn't seen it here.
A longtime bartender at the Three Legged Dog was attacked with a hatchet when a customer went behind the bar and tried to raid the register. He got away before NOPD arrived. The bartender (I'm unsure if it's ok to use his name) is ok, but had to have multiple stitches to his head and one hand.
Current word going around is that the attacker is known around Lower Decatur, but that's just what I've heard in the last day. I work close to 3LD and don't recognize him, myself.
Keep an eye out, y'all, and if you see this dude, call NOPD and hope they don't take ages to arrive. Or hell, call 3LD, there's a lot of interest in finding this person.
