Hello everyone, I am getting ready to send in my respective documents however, I have a question about the I-864. My spouse (US Citizen) met the federal poverty guidelines for the most previous tax year (2025) but did not meet those guidelines in 2024 & 2023. I know that the form says that only the most recent tax year is necessary. My questions are:

1). will that be a problem?

2). Can I add additional documentation like an employment letter and 6 months of most recent pay stubs?

3). Can I still submit the tax return for those years despite not meeting the guidelines or it’s not necessary?
