Is law firm pay about to rocket in the English regions?
Does this advert indicate regional pay in England might be about to double?
Directors in commercial law firms in Leeds are normally paid between £90,000 to £125,000 but this advert shows DWF in Leeds offering £150,000 to £255,000 for a legal director specialising in Government and Public Sector law (advert attached).
Has anyone else seen the salaries for directors in law firms doubling in Leeds? Or is this very high salary due to a very specific need at DWF for someone who knows things like procurement and subsidy control?
