I found the BEST podiatrist/foot doctor in the state, Dr. Edward Lang. I was at Jazz fest last weekend and apparently the shoes I wore were too tight and caused an ingrown toenail I had to become irritated and infected. It was so painful I couldn’t take it anymore. So I did a search and found this doc at New Orleans Podiatry, right by freret st and barecat cafe. They even gave me an option to text that night so i sent a pic of my toe and within not even five minutes got a response, and booked a next morning appointment at 7am (before work!) they had this total zen office vibe with the plants and music and I was in and out before I had to go to work. The front desk wasnt playing on their phones, doc was super kind and helpful and didnt make me feel like i was worried over nothing and gave me step by step written instructions on what to do afterwards. Get this: the doc even personally reached out to me later that day to check how i was doing. Like that’s something I have NEVER had from another office before. He even talked to me about how to prevent this from happening again, shoes i should wear, and how to prevent fungus which ew but apparently it is super common in southern states especially us here in nola. Seriously check out their website, they even see kids! And have some med spa. I was told its under renovation right now but should be back up and runnin in a few months.
