Check Engine light at the worst time
2025 Chevy Colorado ZR2. Just drove it from Ohio to Colorado Springs with no problems. First day here and we’re about to go up in the mountains and I get a service transmission and a service traction control. Truck started shuddering. Luckily there was a dealership nearby. They ran the diagnostics and found P0300, and also two codes showing “history” P0826 & P0261. Up down switch sensor for transmission was the first code and the other two codes are engine misfires. I recently installed a dashcam but it didn’t shut off when truck was off. I wonder if battery drain causes this. Anyone with experience. They want me to bring it in 7am tomorrow and I’m praying this is an easy fix cause I had a week planned to hit trails in the mountains. What a terrible way to start my vacation.
