New guy using supplements
I’m am a 38 year-old male with no history of any liver or kidney problems or any other medical concerns about taking supplements. I have never been on the lean side of the body scale and this year that is one of my goals to try to do. Currently sitting at 16% body fat and 178 pounds. My goal is to get down to 170 pounds and in the 10 to 15% body fat range. My goal is 80% for myself, I was never into body building and now I have decided to give it a try. I want to be fit for elk hunting season and the last 6 months I have really started to train at the gym and with a weighted pack. I have noticed some changes that I like and this supplement pack was recommended to me by some guys at a supplement company. My biggest concern is that all three need to be taken 3 times per day according to the label. That seems like a lot to start with, using all three at once!
Up until now I have been reluctant to take any form of supplements. I would use Ibuprofen or Tylenol for aches and pains, NyQuil or Alka-Seltzer for colds and Zertec for my allergies. That was basically it.
I was curious about what results others who have tired these supplements have had.
They are supposed to be better than other supplements because they are not made with as harsh of chemicals, yet they are still mass produced items.
I just don’t want to have health problems later on because of choices I have made today. I am meeting with a doctor at the end of June to talk about them. I also looked them up online and got a lot of mixed reviews. That seems about par for anything that I look up online now.
So how about it RedIt? What have you heard or have had happen from using these ?
