Here is a great great West coast jazz album. This album in particular is a reissue by Blue Note. The album is a Pacific Jazz record label and was recorded from the analog master tapes in the original mono mix. It sounds amazing. This record was originally called The Playboys that had a pin up girl on the cover. However after a lawsuit threat from Hugh, the label renamed it to Picture of Heath after Jeff Heath who composed and arranged 5 out of 7 of the charts. If you have never heard this album, give it a spin!
