I am a dual citizen of Canada and Iran (born in Iran) currently in the U.S. with a pending F2B I-485 and valid EAD/AP through USCIS .My priority date became current in April 2026. I also have a scheduled immigrant visa interview at U.S. Consulate General Montreal because my NVC case was not withdrawn. I would like advice on whether to attend the interview or continue with AOS, considering possible USCIS processing delays, risk of administrative processing at the consulate, and whether it is safe to travel and return on Advance Parole without underlying status (Originally entered with L1 but have lost my job recently).

Should I attend my immigrant visa interview at US consulate or skip it?
