Getting fitted for my permanents
So about a month ago I had my last 14 teeth removed, totally awake but they numbed me up but I still had to mentally prepare for this. My whole tooth loss journey was a nightmare. Suboxone caused my teeth to break and caused severe decay. All my teeth fell out in 2 1/2 years time. Long story short I’m healing great and getting my molds done this week for my permanents. The last couple weeks I’ve been wearing Easy Dentures that are too big for me but I don’t want anyone to see my concaved mouth. Not even my family. Losing my teeth has been a childhood nightmare for me. Imagine your worst fear coming true! Anyway, I’m just looking for support because I’m already a bit irritated by the adhesive you have to use in order to keep your teeth in place. It’s hard to tell how much I should use. I always have that slimy stuff spilling out and onto my lips. And then it gets all over my teeth and I’m constantly self conscious and I guess I just need to know, does this denture journey get easier? Does it get less annoying? I just want my beautiful smile back. Please give me some positive feedback 🤘🏻🫶🏻Thank you!
