What is this grey-brown ball our neighbour gave us?
Hey all,
Our neighbour gave my partner this small brown-grey stone-like ball to identify. He found it in southern Ontario but no other information given. My partner is an archaeologist, so I think he thought he may be able to identify it lol. It seems to say “O C” or maybe a number on the bottom? We theorized it may be a musket ball, but it seems somewhat polished to be one unless it’s natural polishing from water erosion. It’s about 4cm in diameter. Any thoughts on what this might be?
