Clockwork Angrls
Long time fan here. In the 70’s my brother (7 years my elder)had Fly by Night and 2112. I also grew up with older kids who heavily influenced my musical tastes and RUSH was one of those bands. When Moving Pictures was released we went bonkers for that record. I also really enjoyed Signals and GUP.
By the time I was in High School and Hold Your Fire came out, I was getting into heavier music. I knew time stand still was a good song but I was we ( RUSH and I) were moving in different directions. Presto just didn’t do it for me. I did get to see them on the Presto tour and it was amazing.
Roll the Bones I enjoyed at the time but things changed again and we went our separate ways.
I typically stopped listening to anything after Moving Pictures, except Subdivisions.
I never listened to another album after Roll the Bones, until today.
Holy Heck! Clockwork Angels caught me off guard. A very heavy sound to that album that I did not expect. It’s time to give the rest of them a try.
WOW, I’m seriously stunned by this record. So happy.
That is all.
Oops I guess I misspelled Angels. Fat thumbs…
