Career Advice
Hi everyone! I’m looking for some career advice.
I graduated as an architect four years ago, but I don’t have traditional AEC experience. For the past four years, I’ve been working in virtual set design and architectural visualization.
I’m considering learning BIM tools, especially Revit, and trying to transition into the AEC/BIM industry.
Do you think this is a realistic path with my background? Would you recommend starting with BIM and applying for entry-level BIM roles, or should I first try to gain some traditional architectural experience?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has made a similar transition. Thanks!
