My cat no longer has the ability to move his tail. It is dragging on the floor behind him and he seems off balance and just weaker in his hind legs, but he is still walking around. I can manipulate the tail and touch his back and legs without him showing any aggression or anything. He did pee outside of the litter box for the first time after this started a week ago. Since then he's back to using the litterbox. He's now not as active as he was and just isn't himself. Is this a sign of age or something else?
