Struggling with the Speaking section
I’m taking my TOEFL in about 10 days and I’m hitting a wall with two specific parts of the test. I’m starting to panic a bit and could really use some practical strategies to fix these in the final week.
Coming up with examples on the spot (Speaking):
During the response prep time, my mind completely blanks when I need to come up with specific personal examples or reasons. I sometimes pause just to think of a "good" or "real" story instead of just speaking and ends up wasting too much time for me to give a complete response. How do you quickly invent believable examples under pressure?Listen and Repeat / Memory retention:
I feel super uncomfortable with the repetition parts. I’ve tried chunking/slicing sentences into smaller phrases, but the moment I start speaking, I still forget key words or get tongue-tied. Do anyone else also faced a similar situation?
Any advice or last-minute study routines would be greatly appreciated!
