I got my well water tested and it came back with high iron, manganese and total dissolved solids of 594
I'd like to get this completely fixed with a good filtration setup. Been researching options and SoftPro Water Systems stands out to me with their iron filter and upflow softener combo. Looks solid for around 5k and DIY friendly. Are they reliable for well water issues like this or is there something better?

What's the best whole house water softener? Planning to get water hardness tested. Mixed reviews on big box stuff from Home Depot/Lowes.
Been researching a bunch and leaning toward SoftPro Water Systems for their efficient upflow design and easy DIY install. What do you guys think? Any better picks?
