It’s Al shami going to be cancelled again in Sydney?

I mean last time they scheduled 2 Sydney concerts that barely sold 20% tickets for each night, and day before canceled based off “visa denied”… which makes no sense why you wouldn’t have announced a week or two earlier that there’s a chance of cancellation due to visa yet to be received.

This time around they are doing marketing and announcing a second attempt concert 1 month before the schedule date where as last time they announced 3 months before. They’re also doing 1 concert this time instead of 2 nights for Sydney and again… nearly 2 weeks away from the schedule date and barely 20% tickets sold.

What are the chances this will be cancelled based off “visa denied”. When I called about tickets for June concert I was told his visa has been confirmed but there is always a chance due to the “war” that flight issues could cause cancellation.

Idk it’s like if you know that he doesn’t have a heavy fan base established in Australia compared to his audience overseas, you’d think they’d reduce the ticket cost, choose a smaller venue appropriate to the existing fan base.

It’s annoying because I love his music and want to see him perform live but it’s not very convincing that he is going to actually end up going through with his concert. When I go to these kind of events, I always make sure to spend appropriate to enjoy the experience. If it means front row seats so be it. Making sure I get my nails, hair everything done. And it’s so annoying to go through with those costly appts just for the concert to be cancelled. Would be even more annoying for people who paid flights in addition to tickets to be able to watch him perform from other states.

Anyway what do you all think, is it going ahead or nah ?
