A Baby of Ash
I had a dream last night that my long distance best friend, who is a Lesbian and does not want children, had an affair with a male butcher and got pregnant by him. I don’t know why the butcher thing is significant, but that’s what she told me in the dream.
She was very pregnant, which was shocking because she hadn’t told me about it, and was being induced later that day at the hospital where she was born. However, she went into labor on her own. When she got to the hospital and had the baby, he had somehow carbonized inside of her, and when she went to hold him, he turned into ash and fell apart in her arms. When she got back, she determined that the gods took the baby and denied her the path of motherhood, because it wasn’t the path she was supposed to be on.
I have no idea what this dream means or why this friend was the pregnant person because it makes absolutely no sense.
