Reading or Exeter for Law?

I’ve firmed Exeter for LLB and Reading as my insurance .
I always wanted to go to Reading but decided to apply to Exeter as I had a couple ucas options left and once getting the offer I thought it would be stupid to say no to it,
but I’m from Kent and never even wanted to move out for uni or always wanted to stay in London
Reading is only 23 mins to London and only 1h30 commute home
Exeter naturally is much further and I’m not sure if I want that 4 hour commute and I don’t know if I’ll fit in or if I even find any of the accommodation appealing

I know Exeter ranks much higher
But the thought of going to Exeter does not appeal to me it makes me sick because of how far away it is
From London and Kent

High Street Law TC

Is there any benefit of doing training contract in high street firm? I’ve passed my SQE and have an offer at a high street firm which deals with laws I like but I’m not sure if I’m limiting myself; I also am married living in this area so I would see it’s more beneficial to work here then commute to London? But then I suppose getting a job in London would be challenging if I did decide to work there

TC at family firm or London

I’ve in 1st year Reading Uni on track for 1st
My parents on a small/medium law firm in Kent where I’m guaranteed a TC (don’t need to apply)
or should I apply for law firms in London which can be draining but a I always wanted to train in London
And I missed out on London life by going to uni in Reading but will likely doing my SQE in London campus
What should I do?
