Picked up this Watchdives WD0003C with the purple “ice crystal” dial, and honestly… this thing is punching way above its weight class.

I expected “fun little quartz beater.”

What I got was “tiny purple meteorite disco ball pretending to be luxury.”

The dial changes like it has mood swings — purple, silver, a little blue, sometimes full-on galaxy depending on the light. The 38mm case wears perfectly, the bracelet looks clean, and the VH31 sweep seconds gives it just enough fake-mechanical swagger to make me forget it’s quartz.

For the price, this thing is dangerously good
