Flexible work hours

New ODS- currently work for a contract company where my hours are incredibly flexible as in I can stop and start whenever as long as I get my hours done in the 7 day week they have.
It’s honestly the only thing keeping me there. I would much rather work for a hospital or central registry.
My question is- are there hospitals out there that ever provide this level of flexibility? It’s a deal breaker for all the jobs I’ve interviewed for because I need the flexibility of being able to stop as needed due to our family/life dynamics at the moment.
I can’t seem to find any hospital positions that don’t want at least some sort of set schedule 7-3, 8-4, 9-5 etc.
