Hi all, I was just recently proposed to and was shocked to discover that my fiancée saved for a “real” diamond. We’re normally quite budget-conscious, so I always imagined (and had no issue with) being part of the lab-grown group.

Natural stone ladies, have you actually encountered any real-world criticism? If yes, what are your tips to politely counter it? I’m quite neutral myself, but I know that this can be a sensitive topic and there are definitely people in my circle who will be judgmental of its origin.

It’s absolutely beautiful and he worked so hard to give me this - I don’t want to find myself putting it down if I get uncomfortable. Any tips are appreciated!
