Super Weird Question
I have 2 alienware monitors. One is the 32 inch 4k curved OLED, the other is the 27 inch 1440p OLED. I got the 4k one about a year before I got the 1440p one. I use them both on the same linux PC. However, I have been noticing that their regen cycles are synced!
Its great, but how? They occasionally go into regen mode after the PC is shut down. How do they know to sync their regen cycles? They aren't connected to each other. They don't have any software on the PC, just their own onboard firmware. Yet somehow they are communicating to each other to go into regen mode at the same time! The green lights even pulse in perfect sync!
It's a totally pointless question, but I am just so curious as to how these two monitors can somehow perfectly sync up, even when only connected via a powered off PC.
