Are 1.75" tires too thin for 60m SKS Bluemel Fenders?
Currently building up my second retro mtb and and wanted to downsize my tires. I originally rode with Maxxis DTH 26x 2.3 tires so my friend gave me his old set of Continental Ride Tour 26x 1.75 to try out. I have yet to fully build my bike and managed to get my hands on some 60m SKS bluemel fenders. So now my concerns is that the 1.75 tires would look odd with the 60m fenders especially since i do it to look fitted on not have any over hang.
Any advice or input on whether I should change to a thicker tire like a Maxxis Pace (1.95-2.1") or just stick to the Continentals and ride around first.
Just making these considerations as i know that adjusting fenders can be a pain in the ass so i would like to get it down while i am still building this bike up :>
