Hi everyone,

I recently received an email from the Snorkel Expert Network welcoming me to join as an Expert Contributor. The onboarding is being handled through HireArt.

I’m currently in the middle of the onboarding application process, which includes signing an independent contractor agreement, background checks, and identity verification

However, the offer email from HireArt mentions

My questions for the community:

  1. For those who have gone through this, is it common to complete all this paperwork (background checks, etc.) without a guarantee of immediate tasks?
  2. Once onboarding is finalized, how long does it typically take to see available projects in the dashboard?
  3. Is this "Expert Network" more of a talent pool than a standard 40-hour/week contract?

Thanks for any insights!
