Isaac Night was such wasted potential
I really liked Isaac, but I feel like he didn’t get nearly enough focus. Honestly, I don’t think season 2 is as bad as people say it had a lot of interesting stuff but it definitely feels messier and a bit of a step down from season 1.
The main issue for me was that the season tried to do too much at once. If it had just centered on Isaac as the main villain, I think it could’ve been incredible, maybe even better than the first season. His whole character and story are so Tim Burton-esque, which I love, and the way he ties into the Addams family especially the reveal that his missing hand is Thing is just such a cool idea.
He had so much potential to be a really memorable villain. I wish we could have seen more of his backstory and more of his connection to Gomez and Morticia. There’s just so much you could explore with him, and it feels like the show skimmed over it.
I really do hope we get to see him again in the future. I think it’s possible that he can return.
