I have an (old) parquet floor and renovated it 4 years ago. But then maybe a year in, a black stain started to appear in some sections. I attach some photos: dirty first, healthy second.

Some people say it’s fungus, others humidity and a third person said that someone tried to clean the floor with some chemical that did that.

I would like to fix the floor and not have that happen again.

But in order to do that I would like to have a diagnostic of exactly what this is.
