No contract shut off water and power
Hey guys, I’m currently in a situation with my mother and brother, around last year January we moved to this place and signed a contract of “living for free” that lasted 2 months. Obviously, we were paying. We’ve been here and payed around €600 every single month with no problems until now. Around a week ago, her realtor called us very mad and explained that if we don’t get out by Monday, they’ll kick us out. It’s been a day now. The landlord and the realtors barged into the house demanding answers, and since we live above the landlord there’s nothing we can really do about it. They control everything, power, water. Now it’s the day after, they shut everything off and now changed the lock of the outside gate so we can’t even get out. I can’t charge my phone, anything. We’ve called the Police and they said there’s nothing that they can do. What do I do? Any advice? We can’t find another place, the market is crazy. We’ve been trying for so long.
