Anyone hear or see anything about a violent incident on Beech Street this afternoon?
Anyone hear or see anything about a violent incident on Beech Street (between Burnett & Hawley) today? At about 5pm, I was passing through with my two young kids in the backseat, and there was a car stopped in the middle of the road with both the driver and passenger doors open. As I got closer, I see the driver (female) screaming at some people on their front porch, while her companion (male) stalked around the street and their yard, screaming at them and filming them. Some bystanders are yelling at them to leave, etc. Then I noticed he had blood on his face and chest (shirtless), and I start to go around their car...and another guy (also shirtless) comes out of the house with a bloody mouth & nose and blood all over his chest, and he was carrying a sword. Like an actual fucking samurai sword. It was obvious they had been fighting each other. I nearly hit him as he walked into the street to go after the other guy, but luckily he stopped because I wasn't going to. Then I nearly hit the other guy in the street while I drove off. I stopped when I got to the end of the block to call 911, and a cop showed up a couple minutes later (there were other calls before mine).
Anyway, it was pretty crazy, and a bit traumatizing for my kid (she thought it was fake blood and sword until she heard me on the call with 911). There were several people recording with their phones, so wondering if anything has shown up online.
