I’m about to pull the trigger on a VSF Omega Seamaster 300 and got quotes from 3 TDs:
Andiot – $340
Dukereps – $385
Theonewatches – $398
Since all of them are sourcing VSF, I’m assuming the watch itself should be identical — same factory, same batch, same movement.
So I wanted to confirm with you guys:
Is there actually any difference in the final watch between these TDs?
Is the price difference purely for service / QC / communication / shipping?
Is it worth paying ~$50–60 more for Theonewatches vs Andiot?
From what I’ve seen so far:
People say all TDs can source the same factories, so product should be identical
Theonewatches (Steve) seems to charge a premium for better service / support
Andiot is usually the cheapest but still well-reviewed
Not sure where Dukereps sits in comparison
If I already know exactly what I want (VSF Seamaster), would you just go with the cheapest option, or is there a real advantage going with a higher-priced TD?
