I made fake academic book covers for reading spicy books in public and I can't stop laughing at them
Okay so context ,I was reading at a
family dinner and my grandmother
picked up my book and read the back
cover out loud to the entire table.
I have never recovered.
So I spent a weekend making printable
fake book covers that fold over any
paperback. The titles I went with:
→ Introduction to Municipal Sewage Systems
→ Advanced Spreadsheet Formulas Vol. 2
→ The Complete Guide to Tile Grouting
→ Fundamentals of Crop Rotation
→ Proceedings of the 2019 Accounting Symposium
I printed the Sewage Systems one and
used it on the train this morning.
The man next to me glanced over,
saw the cover, and immediately
looked away with zero interest.
It worked perfectly.
