I don't know if it's just nostalgia, but the internet used to feel way more personal to me. People had weird little communities and you'd actually recognize usernames over time.

Now everything feels optimized, algorithm-driven, and weirdly corporate. Even social media feels less social somehow.

Maybe I'm just getting older, but I miss that older internet feeling. Does anyone else feel the same way?
