Should I restart the show?

Ok, hear me out. I really got into it when it first came out. But it kind of fizzled out for me after S7, as did it for a lot of people I hear. I’ve tried to get back into it a couple times since but i just can’t keep it going.

HOT TAKE: Home Run Inn peaks in the Freezer Aisle

Maybe it’s because I’ve had the frozen version so many times, but I think it comes out crispier, more consistent, and just hits the spot every time. I always keep a classic sausage on standby in the freezer for when I’m feeling lazy and indecisive ;)

EDIT: I’m simply comparing frozen HRI to the actual sit down version…

Tempesta Market did not disappoint!!

Finally made it to Tempesta and the meatball sub absolutely lived up to the hype.

The thing that surprised me most was the bread. The lobster roll, omg, with how crispy and buttery it was! Held everything together perfectly without getting soggy halfway through.

The sauce (pesto and tomato piquillo) worked ridiculously well together too. The pesto added that rich, herby flavor while the tomato sauce brought a little sweetness and acidity that balanced out the meatballs. Every bite felt loaded without being overwhelming.

Also, for $15 with chips included? That’s honestly about the MAX price l I’m willing to pay for a sandwich/burger this good nowadays. Didn’t leave feeling ripped off at all.
Definitely one of the better sandwiches I’ve had since moving to Chicago.
