Replacement backpack for Timbuk2 Parkside Eco

I recently went on holiday to South Africa and my laptop and backback (a Timbuk2 Division) were stolen.

After coming back to the UK I bought a replacement backpack, the Timbuk2 Parkside Eco. But I’m struggling with this it. It’s a good size (I can get a laptop and trainers/gym clothes in it) but it feels cheaply made. And my previous Division, which felt of much higher quality, was a little small and did not enough pockets to carry my trainers, tech cables etc.

So I’m looking for alternatives. I liked Timbuk2’s warranty but happy to look at other brands/models. And Packhacker just makes it more complicated :)

Some thoughts/questions

  1. Has anyone any recommendations, based in the above?
  2. I have been thinking about the Bellroy Traveller Lite (30L) but I have nowhere to touch/feel one. Does anyone have any opinion on it compared to the Timbuk2?
  3. Also thinking about the Osprey Arcane, but looks a bit small. Opinions also welcome!

I tend to new/nearly new off Vinted as I can’t afford to drop £150/200 on a new bag. Between £50-£100 is my budget.

Any help/wisdom is appreciated
