The most frustrating thing as an apprentice is when i’m given a seemingly easy task and then i get stuck on something simple that eats up my time and gets me clowned by my coworkers. For example today i was jumping some mc for a light and got stuck on trying to get a damn lock nut onto a connecter and because there was already drywall i had to reach behind to hold the connector as i tightened the nut. All the while my coworkers and foremen would walk by cracking jokes like “gonna spend the whole day in here” while i get they’re joking it starts to get to me when im already frustrated. My foremen eventually showed me an easier way to do it but even he struggled getting the locknut on.
