I (26M) just got a job in London with the office in Russel Square. Looking for a 1 bed flat for me and my dog. Preferably near a big park and the office is dog friendly so a commute that isnt jam packed during rush hour (I dont know if thats even possible). Budget is around £2000 not including bills.

Areas I had my eye on were:

Chalk Farm/ Belsize Park - Near hampstead heath and regents park, 25min commute and supposedly that line of the northern branch isnt too bad. Although not may flats in my price range.

Wandsworth - Lots of parks, especially towards clapham side. 40min commute. I have friends that live near here already as well

Is there anywhere else I should consider?
