I was on Adderall 10 MG XR for years and it was amazing. Went to 15 mg xr a year later, felt too strong first day than stabilized. Was on that for years (2018-2020). Stopped after graduating high school for a year and genuinely cannot fathom doing that now. Went back on Adderall 15 mg XR and was good from years 2021-2024. Starting 2025 i began abusing them and still struggle. I would take 2 capsules instead of one. This past year, yes i was misusing, but i swear it was a totally different drug. Each month id eyeball the colors of the capsules to see if generic manufacturers had different effects. I was just stuck in the most miserable cycle. I'd always be a week short, scrambling for a refill. The last dose of Adderall I took was the blue and white capsules. I had the worst chronic headaches of my life, so bad that i genuinely thought I had TMJ. My gf told me i was grinding my teeth loudly at night. Id have jaw/face/tooth pain all day, an unbearable headache, aspirin daily and nose bleeds. This was not the same drug. I switched to Vyvanse since and my headaches have gone away. Vyvanse still can suck sometimes, but addy was genuinely the worst thing to happen to me this past year. Im aware my side effects could be due to the misuse of the medication, but even still i was never "over dosing" on a universal level. Does anyone feel like they began abusing medication the last 1-2 years?
