So i have been trying to get my tone like the one in Moscow 91' and one thing ive noticed especially at the start of creeping death is how the pick sounds, other than the brutal tone coming from the amp there is a little plastic kind of noise coming from the pick. I supposed that was due to the lighter pick gauge james used at the time which was the dunlop .89mm. However, once i got said pick the only thing coming out once angled was a scratchy noise. Does anyone know how to achieve that plastic kindof noise that is present live?
