The biggest mistake I made was sending the same resume everywhere

I used to apply with the exact same resume to every job.

The response rate was terrible.

Now I tailor my resume to each job by:

  1. Copying the job description

  2. Identifying keywords

  3. Updating my summary and bullet points

  4. Matching skills to the role

The process takes around 15 minutes but works much better.

Do you customize your resume for each application or use the same version?
