I'm just angry almost all the time now. Even when I got my silent app., I was relieved for like two seconds. Then was like WTF did they need to put us through this?? There was absolutely no reason then to what, watch us squirm and then laugh about it?

Got my EA card yesterday, just left the FL DMV this morning. One year!! We only get one year now on our FL DLs (non-immigrants). Doesn't matter if your docs are valid for actually one year or ten years. Now we have to renew(check-in) every year and pay the renewal fee every year.

The lady at the counter said it was to check/update docs...I told her it's going to be the same exact docs a year from now...she said I get your frustration but they can't bypass it and we have to pay the fee again...

Its some type of tracking, I'm sure, and another way to queeze one more dime out of us!

Another person had posted they got 8 years on their NY license while we get one now. SMH
