It’s almost as if Sam despises winning the easy way. He loves concocting these insane totally out of the ordinary plans which make for great entertainment, but I can’t tell if that’s just him overthinking things or an intentional strategy to engage the viewers. Couple examples out of many is the airport gamble in Japan and the end of this Taiwan season. He’s only grounded when there’s a more dominant personality in his team such as Michelle or Tobi.
