Document proofs: mistake about a grade

Hi everyone,

I’m an offer holder for an MSc programme at LSE, and I’m currently completing a double degree between a business school in France and Lancaster University, with two years at each institution.

When I submitted my application, I listed the two degrees separately. For my French institution, I only included my second-year average, because I thought my French degree would be assessed in the same way as Lancaster, where the final average only takes into account the last three years.

However, I’ve just found out that my French degree will actually take both first and second year into account, but also my 2 last year at Lancaster to calculate the final grade. This changes my average slightly, from a 3.69 GPA to a 3.65 GPA for the first two years.

I’m a bit worried because I didn’t submit my first-year transcript with my application, and LSE is now asking me to submit documents for both institutions. I’m planning to contact them to explain the situation and provide the missing transcript, but I’m concerned about whether this could affect my offer or even lead to it being withdrawn.

Has anyone been in a similar situation before? I didn’t mean to hide anything, and my first-year grades are still good, but I’m quite anxious about how this might be viewed.

Any advice would be really appreciated!
