- playing on the CRT via PC. 3600 paired with a 3060 at 1200p/77hz on mostly medium settings. DLSS balanced to try to maintain FPS. Switching to higher settings gets us a better picture but closer to 60 fps
- Playing on a 3rd gen glossy OLED via ps5 pro, HDR, on favor performance
- I really love the motion and softness of the CRT. The OLED has great HDR, and 1440p on a digital display at this size is super crispy. I feel like I gotta lean toward the CRT while playing. But when I'm playing on OLED I feel comfortable leaning back more.
- these videos are showing too much contrast. There's more detail IRL and the highlights not nearly as bright. The CRT is noticeably far more dim. As expected, of course. Tubes don't make bright pictures.
