I've read this book before and I think the cover has a woman wearing a blue dress as it's a Cinderella retelling. The FMC breaks into a party being hosted at the MMCs house because she's trying to steal something that belonged to her family. The MMC catches her, they play chess and bicker, and eventually he hires her as his maid. There's Asian rep with the MMC and his family, and his mom is trying to marry him off. In the end of the book she's with her step family in her old home she lived in prior to being hired and the MMC comes to her defense. I've tried looking it up but I can't remember the title.
