I have five years of construction experience as a trim carpenter & assistant superintendent doing custom homes and remodels & a few years of general handyman work.

Trying to find a niche where I can work for myself and make a fair amount of money. I landed on bathroom/kitchen remodels since I can do everything needed and produce good clean work (except move plumbing or electrical)

My plan is to start building a name for myself and do all the jobs on my own at the beginning & eventually build it out with the right subs so I am not on tools all day.

Anyone that has gone this route full time have any tips on getting started & some realistic net income goals or profit margins?
