Student money while living in Beijing

Hi guys, Im going to Beijing on exchange semester in September, and I am very fortunate to be able to afford it. I do not have the largest budget though, so I will have to watch my expenses.

I am able to get 3 meals a day for around 50 CNY at my campus, which I think is an amazing deals.

Do you guys have any tips/tricks on things I need to be aware of? Is there anything specific what I need to watch out for? I know little spendings can up quickly, so I would love to hear some of your experiences.

Hi guys, I am going to Beijing in September for my exchange semester. I am flying to PKX airport. I have alipay installed already, and saw a taxi to my school via DiDi will be around 60 CNY.

Is that the best option to take? I saw that train or metro was also available, and I dont mind taking public transport with all my luggage, but I am afraid it will all be very confusing.

What would you guys recommend? Also, should I install the DiDi app or is via alipay fine as well?

Hi!

I am going to Beijing for 4,5 months, and have made a little list of things I want to see already. (Great wall, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace etc.)

Are there any things I should know (as a dutch male), which is not noted in the normal flyers/books about cultural appreciation, unknown landmarks or anything else of importance?

Thank you!
