… in location: Deschutes County, Oregon: I filed a partition complaint regarding a vehicle. It is worth well over small claims. I was never married to the other party. We do not have living children between us, only a child each from a previous relationship. Other party is not responding meaningfully, if at all. Lots of angry texts from him, and he is hostile. Now, non responsive. We have multiple court hearings coming up. I received a call from the police telling me that the vehicle was hit while parked. The other party is out of the country. I need a lawyer to help me. The other party is dangerous and while I know I signed onto this, it was under false pretense. I am scared because the cost of the vehicle could easily level my financial security. I am a single parent and just want to be disentangled with the other party before anything else happens.
